Main Point: A church that is accepted and influenced by culture will lead to a church that is unacceptable and disgraceful to God.
How the church should address a sinner:
(1) Mourn over the sinner (vv. 1–2).
(2) Discern the sinner (vv. 3–6).
(3) Remove the sinner (vv. 6–13).
Application: A Loving Church…..Love God and Others
1. overlooking sin is not loving but dangerous.
2. confronting sin is not optional but essential.
3. dealing with sin is not meant to humiliate but reinstate.
4. correcting sin is not external but internal.
