Why does the church so often look like the culture around it? When leaders lower the authority of God’s Word, errors creep in, and the church loses its footing. In this class we’ll examine where the Elders and Pastors have stacked hands on the authority of Scripture, how God speaks today, how to discern truth from error, God’s sovereignty and our responsibility in salvation, covenant membership and church discipline, and God’s design for gender, sexuality, marriage, and divorce. Our goal is to equip you to hold fast to sound doctrine, recognize error, and defend the truth in conviction and love.

What does it mean to “have faith in God”? This is a question God has answered from the very beginning! In this study of Genesis, we’ll discover the God who speaks life, the beauty of trusting him, and the heartbreak of turning away. Faith in God is not a duty to be born, but a profound source of hope and purpose. The opening book of Genesis reveals God’s heart for his people, and calls us to walk in faith-filled relationship with him.
