What is the power of knowledge…wisdom!
Main Point: Followers of Jesus must be careful not to confuse trust in God’s grace with self-confidence.
• (internal work of spirit, vs. external)
Warning: Privileges from God are not a guarantee of God’s pleasure (vv. 1–5).
Warning: Precepts from God are a guarantee of God’s guidance (vv. 6–12).
Warning: Promises from God are a guarantee of God’s faithfulness (vv. 13)
Warning: Participation with God is a guarantee of God’s fellowship (14-22).
