The Followers of Jesus: Who We Are and What We Do
1 Timothy 3:14-15
14 I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these things to you so that, 15 if I delay, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, a pillar and buttress of the truth.
Main Point: The church is God’s household made up of followers of Jesus who are charged with protecting the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Who and What We Do:
(1) The house of God (v. 15a).

(2) The assembly (v. 15b)

(3) The pillar and ground of the truth (vv. 15c–16).
