Self-Indulgence (James 5:4-6)

Do you see evidence of luxury or self-indulgence in your life? 

James says that a life of luxury and self-indulgence lead the rich to keep back wages and condemn innocent people in court! How might your own self-indulgence lead you to practice injustice or even be complicit in it? 

In order to assess if self-indulgence has a stronghold in our hearts, we occasionally need to go without some pleasure or not spend money on ourselves for a certain length of time. With that purpose in mind, how can you practice some form of fasting or frugality this week?
